Diving Lessons

This program is designed for two types of athletes: the first is a beginning level diver with little or no experience who wishes to improve the quality of his/her diving and gain enough skills and control to be ready for the next level of instruction or training; the second is a diver of almost any caliber who wishes not only to dive recreationally, but who also wants to do so with quality instruction for safety and skill improvement.

New students will be instructed in basic skills, like forward and backward take-offs, approach and hurdle, forward and backward entries. All the dives and the skills thought are based on each individual ’s physical ability and understanding of the skill, to ensure both a safe and fun atmosphere and to create a good learning experience for all.


Pre - Elite (Novice Team)

This level of diving is the first notable turning point in a diver’s career, and is designed to help the individual who is interested to prepare for competitive diving. A diver at this level possess all the basic skills learned in beginning lessons. At this level the diver will feel greater expectation from the coaches, as more time is required at the pool and dry-land training and conditioning begins. 

In addition to the development of skills and ability, the divers self-confidence and pride in achievement become evident. Parents watch their children experience the incomparable excitement of being able to compete with their peers and make new friend in local U.S. Diving competitions.


Elite (Junior Olympic Team)

As in Novice level, there are turning points and stages of growth, such as character-builders as sacrifice (more time spent training, greater physical and emotional demands, etc.), confronting fear, goal setting, experiencing the rewards of accomplishmentconfronting fear, goal setting, experiencing the rewards of accomplishment, becoming a role model and meeting new people while traveling to compete at regional, zone and national competitions.This level of diving is designed for the individual (18 years of age or younger) who has successfully trained and competed well as a Novice, and is now ready for the greater challenges and rewards of Junior Olympic level diving.
